Technical Report: FE-SEM/EDS-Raman Combined Device
Simultaneously 'seeing' form and chemistry.
By integrating high-resolution observation with the analysis of molecular, crystal, and chemical structures, we can intuitively grasp the relationship between structure, composition, and degradation in battery materials. In electrodes where multiple materials coexist, such as cathode active materials, carbon black, and solid electrolytes, SEM can identify morphology, while Raman can specify material types, crystallinity, and decomposition products, allowing for a visual clarification of the state, reaction distribution, and degradation factors for each particle. Furthermore, by combining with EDS, a multifaceted analysis that integrates three types of information—morphology (SEM), elements (EDS), and molecular/crystal structure (Raman)—becomes possible. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
